It was only a matter of time, until I figured out how to make an animate gif!
So here it is, my first attempt at an animated gif!

Don't worry, it doesn't loop like this on the website.

Here are three paintings I'm finishing up before starting on a HUGE commission.... which I will reveal in due time.

Tweaks

Reworking a previous painting. I felt like it needed more contrast and I wanted to tweak it a bit more.

I'm leaving for Canada to scope out some new galleries and go on a nice, relaxing road trip. I'll be back tuesday, and hae some updates for you then.

Waiting for the Waiting painting

Working on something while the painting I was working on to wait for the commission painting to dry.

I hope everyone had a happy holiday of their choosing. Here is a painting I'm working on concurrently with a commission. I need to wait for the commissioned painting to dry between layers and this guys has been keeping me company.

Whew!
Lots of stuff happening the past month!
MCAD Art Sale was a huge success! I sold 21 pieces and received a bunch of commissions.
I'm also working on a bunch of stuff, and I may have some exciting news coming up in the next few weeks, so stay tuned!
In the meanwhile, here is an update on a painting.

Belated Update!

Sorry for hiding away! It's been crazy these past several weeks:
I went out to New Jersey to attend the opening of "Perception Shift" curated by Heather Gibson and on view at the Richard Stockton College in Galloway, NJ, was interviewed and have a front page article about my work at the Herald Journal, I donated a large painting to and attended the Perpich Big Event fundraiser AND I've been working on several private commissions and getting some work ready for the annual MCAD Art Sale!

WHEW!

I'm also working on some things to have available for the Gabbert's customer appreciation event at the Galeria in Edina, MN.

I'll post some updates to those, that, and everything shotly. In the mean while, Back To Painting!

Gold Medal Flour Prints

Due to the large number of requests from the Star Tribune Article on my work at the Hyatt,  “Gold Medal Flour” will now be available for a limited edition of 300 prints!

Each numbered print signed print will include a certificate of authenticity and include a black frame.

Details are still being worked out, but I will have a final price in the next day or so. email me to get on the waiting list or for any inquiries.
